Privacy Notice

This notice explains what information Ante collects and how it is handled. Ante is operated by Aura Golf LLC, a limited liability company in Illinois, USA (the “Operator”).

What we collect

To run the app, we collect and store:

• Your name (or display name),
• Your email address (for sign-in and account communication),
• Your Venmo handle (so friends can pay each other directly), and
• Your game activity (contests you join, formats, buy-in amounts you enter, scores, standings, and results).

Where it’s stored

Your information is stored using Supabase (database hosting) and Vercel (application hosting), whose servers are located in the United States. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy practices.

Payments and Venmo

Ante does not process payments. When you pay a friend, you leave Ante and use Venmo, which is operated by its own company. Any payment, and any information you share during it, is handled by Venmo under Venmo’s own terms and privacy policy — not by Ante. We store your Venmo handle only to make it easy for friends to pay one another; we do not access your Venmo account, balance, or transaction history.

How we use your information

We use your information only to operate and support the app — to sign you in, run and display your contests, and let members of your private group see the shared game activity they need.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Other members of your private group can see the game activity and handles needed to play together. Otherwise, we share information only with the service providers that host the app (above) or where required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing theauragolf@gmail.com, and we will delete it within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep something to comply with law.

Children

Ante is only for adults 21 and older and is not intended for anyone younger.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time and will post the updated version with a new effective date.
